Honolulu (March 5, 2018) – Food and wine enthusiasts, get ready to attend one of Honolulu’s largest food and wine festivals. The “East Honolulu Food Festival” is presented by Mary, Star of the Sea Church and Schools and will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the school grounds
(4470 Aliikoa Street).
In keeping with the Festival’s theme, “World of Flavors,” guests can mix and mingle with some of Hawaii’s top chefs, sample edible delights, and experience a culinary tour of flavors from Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and U.S. Featured restaurants include: A Cup of Tea, Agu Ramen, Big City Diner, Café Julia, Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, Dave & Buster’s, Gourmet Goods and Sekiyas, Il Gelato, Kahala Nui, Kahi’s Kitchen, Kakaako Kitchen, Kona Brewing Company, Maile’s Thai Bistro, Max’s of Manila, NOSH Hawaii, Panda Express, The Rice Plate, Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake, Ted’s Bakery, and Win Spuntino. Young’s Market Company and Kona Brewing Company will be pouring their top sips including wine, spirits, and beer.
Have a fun-filled family evening. Festival guests can dance the night away with live entertainment by Kona Winds and Shining Star Band. Children of all ages can enjoy free rides and games, including rock climbing, face painting and more. Find something special at the silent auction featuring travel and vacation packages, sports, jewelry, clothes and specialty items. All proceeds from the Festival will go to the Mary, Star of the Sea’s Homeless Outreach program and provides students with scholarship assistance, technology equipment and facility upgrades.
