Producers need good records to succeed as businesses in today’s world. As agricultural professionals that work with producers, we recognize that and typically advise our clients to “Save your receipts” and “Keep good records.” Unfortunately, producers then are usually left to find their own way.

CTAHR is partnering with USDA-Farm Service Agency on a workshop that attempts to address this problem. At this event, we will:

  • Introduce and familiarize ag professionals with a recordkeeping tool and “system” that you might use with your clients
  • Solicit input for improvements/modifications that might make your job easier

Dr. Stuart T. Nakamoto, Extension Economist at UH-CTAHR is presenting this 2-3 hour workshop (length depending on discussions) at sites across the state. Participants who preregister will receive a binder of recordkeeping forms. Recordkeeping materials are courtesy of the Western Extension Risk Management Center.
