After the Kona Low Storm that passed the state, agricultural producers are assessing the damage and are preparing for another, weaker system that is coming. Across the state, producers have been impacted by the rain, high winds, and floods. In partnership with other locally-based agricultural organizations, a disaster impact survey and assessment tool has been developed for producers to report any damage to their operations. This information will be used to advocate for recovery support. In the segment above, Executive Director, Brian Miyamoto, provides comments on the storm.
