Hawaii imports about 90 percent of its food and the COVID-19 pandemic showed how vulnerable the state’s food supply is.

 

Good Morning Hawaii Weekends’ Annalisa Burgos spoke to the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation’s Brian Miyamoto and Representative Richard Onishi from the Big Island about ways to support local farmers and build a more resilient agriculture industry.
