2026 Agriculture Awareness Day
HONOLULU – Experience all that local agriculture has to offer at the 2026 Agriculture Awareness Day (Ag Day) on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Hawai‘i State Capitol. Now in its sixteenth year, the event showcases Hawai‘i’s diverse agricultural industry and the many partnerships that make up this thriving industry. Over 60 exhibitors will be situated on the fourth-floor walkway of the Hawai‘i State Capitol from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Ag Day, which is sponsored by the Hawai‘i Farm Bureau, is an opportunity for policymakers and the public to learn about Hawai‘i’s agriculture industry and meet many of the organizations and people who supply our communities with locally grown and produced products. See the attached list for this year’s participants.
The 2026 Ag Awareness Day is being co-hosted by State Representatives Cory Chun and Matthias Kusch and State Senators Mike Gabbard and Tim Richards. They are the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the House and Senate Agricultural Committees.
The primary goal of Ag Awareness Day is to develop a grassroots effort to support agriculture in the islands by engaging policymakers and the community in interactive educational exhibits. The exhibits will cover a wide range of Hawai‘i agriculture topics and help to build a greater understanding of agriculture in Hawai‘i and educate policymakers and the public on current issues facing the industry today.
